If you’re reading this in September 2014, then your eyes are some of the first to have seen this site. Thank you! We are preparing to launch Redcap – a service concierge business serving Beaufort and the Lowcountry. What is a service concierge you ask? It’s a business built to make your life easier – we’ll watch your home while you’re away, detail your car, boat or RV and even deliver groceries, run your errands or take you to the airport or a doctor’s appointment. Basically, if you need help, we’re at your service.
This isn’t our first rodeo. In fact, this is our second business in Beaufort (read more about us here). In a roundabout way, our first business – a restaurant, coffee shop and market – gave us the idea for Redcap. We realized that we enjoyed helping our customers in other ways: stopping by the pharmacy to pick up their prescription on the way to the restaurant, hanging something in that hard-to-reach spot during our off-hours or delivering meals to our special customers when they were sick. It’s all about hospitality, really…and helping others. Redcap is where old-fashioned hospitality meets modern efficiency.

I’m so glad to hear from you. Bill, my husband, is going to Hospice soon. I asked Wells Morrison, head of security if he knew anyone who could help me remove furniture from our decks if we had a storm heading this way. No reply. I would need someone to help me. I could give plenty of notice. Is this something your new business could handle? End of Sept. and Oct are bad times. I would rest better if I knew I could have help. Thanks, Carol.
Your vision, dedication, service and wonderful food, as well as your efforts to support local charities with your “guest bartender” events added so much to the dining experience at the Dataw Marina. I’m sure you’ll be as successful with this new business as you were with Sweetgrass and the Outpost Cafe. Looking forward to all the new services you’ll be providing the Lowcountry…….and me!
